GHSA Participates in 2nd National Distracted Driving Summit
On September 21, 2010, GHSA participated in U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood's 2nd annual national Distracted Driving Summit, being held to address challenges and identify opportunities for national anti-distracted driving efforts.
GHSA Executive Director Barbara Harsha presented GHSA’s perspective on a panel entitled “Confronting the Distracted Driving Challenge Moving Forward.”

2009 Distracted Driving Summit Materials
The first Distracted Driving Summit was held September 30 and October 1, 2009, in Washington, D.C. GHSA Chairman Vernon F. Betkey, Jr. presented GHSA’s perspective on a panel entitled “Legislation, Regulation and Enforcement for Dealing with Distracted Driving.”
