GHSA Participates in Distracted Driving Summit
On September 30 and October 1, 2009, the U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood held a Distracted Driving Summit, to address the dangers of text-messaging and other distractions behind the wheel.
GHSA Chairman Vernon F. Betkey, Jr. presented GHSA’s perspective on a panel entitled “Legislation, Regulation and Enforcement for Dealing with Distracted Driving.”
