America Walks is a national coalition of local advocacy groups dedicated to promoting walkable communities through fostering the development of community-based pedestrian advocacy groups, educating the public about the benefits of walking and acting as a collective voice for walking advocates.

American Academy of Pediatrics Injury Prevention Program
The American Association of Pediatrics Injury Prevention Program stresses that any bike must be the correct size for the child for whom it is bought. A bicycle of the wrong size may cause your child to lose control and be injured.

Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professsionals
The Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals is a professional membership organization that promotes pedestrian and bicycle transportation. Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute

League of American Bicyclists
The League of American Bicyclists (LAM) has been working to improve the quality of bicyling in America almost as long as there have been bicycles. The Century Council
The Century Council is a national organization dedicated to reducing drunk driving and underage drinking problems. National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors
The National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors, Inc. (NASADAD) is a private, not-for-profit educational, scientific, and informational organization. The Association was originally incorporated in 1971 to serve State Drug Agency Directors, and then in 1978 the membership was expanded to include State Alcoholism Agency Directors.

National Association of State Judicial Educators DUI Resource Center
The purpose of this site is to help state and local judges and judicial educators find useful and current resources for handling cases or providing judicial training on impaired driving and other traffic safety issues. The site offers judges access to articles, benchbooks, protocols and other resources for understanding the nature and impacts of impaired driving, and for reviewing the admissibility of field sobriety and chemical tests, conducting DUI trials, imposing sentences or treatment programs, and handling other proceedings.

National Drug Court Institute
After a decade of success with Drug Courts, a new strategy is emerging that utilizes the Drug Court model with impaired drivers, particularly with repeat offenders. DWI (or DUI) Court is a distinct court system dedicated to changing the behavior of the alcohol dependant offenders arrested for Driving While Impaired (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI). DWI/DUI Courts utilize all criminal justice stakeholders (judge, prosecutors, defense attorneys, probation, law enforcement, and others) coupled with alcohol or drug treatment professionals to hold offenders at the highest level of accountability while receiving long-term, intensive treatment and compliance monitoring.

Remove Intoxicated Drivers
The mission of Remove Intoxicated Drivers (RID) is to deter impaired driving, and teen binge drinking that often leads to intense trauma for all concerned. RID is an advocate for victims, an enabler of tough laws, and a watchdog for law enforcement and adjudication in the courts.

National Organizations for Youth Safety
The NOYS is a collaboration of over 40 national organizations, including nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies, committed to promoting safe and healthy behaviors among the nation's youth. The NOYS holds roundtable forums about 4 times each year, with NHTSA acting as convenor.

Safe Kids Worldwide is a global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent accidental childhood injury. More than 450 coalitions in 16 countries bring together health and safety experts, educators, corporations, foundations, governments and volunteers to educate and protect families.

Students Against Destructive Decisions
SADD is an acronym for the youth based program Students Against Destructive Decisions, this program was developed to encourage students and parents to band together in the fight against drinking and driving. Financial support from the public and from private sectors has allowed SADD to spread to all 50 states, Canada, and beyond.

UR the Spokesperson
The UR the Spokesperson campaign is spreading the word about how dangerous reckless driving can be, and empowering young adults to speak up when they don’t feel safe in the car. The campaign is sponsored by the Ad Council and a coalition of state Attorneys General and consumer protection agencies.
