News Release: Pedestrian Fatalities Projected to Spike in 2015 (March 8, 2016)
An estimated 2,368 pedestrians were killed in the first half of 2015, an increase of 10% over the same time period the prior year. The preliminary 2015 data were provided by GHSA's member State Highway Safety Office members. All 50 states and the District of Columbia provided data.
