I-90/I-94 Challenge PDF [110 KB | 3 pgs.]
The “I-90/94 Challenge” operational goal is to achieve increased highly visible traffic enforcement across the 3,100 miles of the Interstate 90 corridor and 2,581 miles of the Interstate 94 corridor.  The emphasis of this initiative will be on education, awareness, partnerships, and data-driven enforcement focusing on seatbelts, speeding, impaired driving, distracted driving, motorcycle violations, and unsafe equipment/driving behaviors of large trucks and buses.

The goal of the “I-75 Challenge” is increased highly visible traffic enforcement from Florida to Michigan along the entire 1,786 mile corridor of Interstate 75.  The emphasis of this initiative will be on education, awareness, partnerships, and data-driven enforcement concentrating on seatbelts, speeding, impaired driving, distracted driving, motorcycle violations, and unsafe equipment/driving behaviors of large trucks and buses.  The focus of the four enforcement weekends will coincide with the NHTSA Communications Calendar and are as follows: March 28 – 30, Impaired Driving;  June 27 – 29, Motorcycle Safety;  September 26 – 28, Occupant Protection;  and December 26 – 28, Impaired Driving.
