2017 Maine Impaired Driving Summit

2017 Georgia Highway Safety Conference

The Georgia Governors Office of Highway Safety's (GOHS) annual conference will unite safety partners in education, law enforcement, emergency medical services and engineering to collaborate toward zero deaths on the state's roadways. Participants will meet with their highway safety peers to share lessons learned and best practices. In addition, GHSA Executive Director Jonathan Adkins will serve as a panelist on the second day of the conference.

Autonomous Vehicle Safety Regulation World Congress 2017

The Autonomous Vehicle Safety Regulation World Congress aims to explore the creation of a regulatory framework while promoting further public testing of AVs. The Congress will look at the challenges that need to be addressed before fully autonomous vehicles can hit the road. Dr. Jim Hedlund, author of GHSA's spotlight on AV safety, will speak to autonomous vehicle safety at the event.

Join Ford Driving Skills for Life in Milwaukee for a free hands-on clinic. Half-day sessions on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st will help newly licensed drivers learn Hazard Recognition, Vehicle Handling, Speed and Space Management. Students will also experience Distracted and Impaired Driving simulations.
