Traffic Fatalities Continue to Surge in U.S.

Jonathan Adkins, executive director of the Governors Highway Safety Association, called it “extremely disappointing” that fatalities have continued to increase during the pandemic after three years from 2017 to 2019 when they decreased. The association has been calling for strong measures to deal with the increases since mid-2020.
