Missouri 2020 Highway Safety and Traffic Conference

Event Type

September 29 - October 1, 2020 | Virtually Via Zoom

This year’s Missouri Highway Safety and Traffic Conference will be 100% virtual.

Missouri is excited to unveil its new strategic highway safety plan, Show-Me Zero, and share how all Missourians can get involved in driving Missouri toward safer roads. The conference will feature discussion from both local and national experts on a variety of topics including speed, seat belts, distracted driving, impairment, and connected and autonomous vehicles.

This is arguably one of the most critical periods experienced in Missouri in regards to traffic fatalities. While the impacts of COVID-19 have significantly reduced the amount of vehicles on roadways, traffic fatalities have unfortunately increased. After three consecutive years of decline, Missouri faces new challenges in moving toward zero roadway deaths.

GHSA Executive Director Jonathan Adkins will participate in a panel discussion on traffic safety during the COVID-19 pandemic September 29 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
