Since 2018, GHSA and Lyft have partnered to encourage the use of ride hailing services as a safe alternative to traveling impaired, through a competitive state grant program focused around the end of the year holiday season.
States receive an allocation of ride-share credits to distribute to adults in specific Lyft-served communities. Some states also receive funds to administer and promote the program. This helps get drunk and drug-impaired drivers off the road and ensures everyone arrives safely at their destination. States receiving grants for the 2020 holiday season are listed below.
