The Governors Highway Association (GHSA) is seeking a full-time Member Services Coordinator. The Member Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative tasks of GHSA’s Association Management System and Consulting Services Initiative (CSI) and handling logistics for meetings and other learning opportunities for GHSA Members. Duties include:

  • Coordinating the day-to-day tasks of the Association Management System, which is currently Naylor. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Keeping the State, Territorial and Associate Member database up to date and welcoming new members via the association’s onboarding process.
    • Overseeing the Associate Member application process and working with the Communications staff to promote new Members and identify ongoing promotional opportunities.
    • Handling Annual Meeting, Executive Seminar and other event registration.
    • Working with Finance to assist with the annual dues process.
  • Coordinating, under the direction of the Senior Director of External Engagement, the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Consulting Services Initiative. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Assisting with final preparation and dissemination of project proposals to SHSOs.
    • Preparing and sending contracts and time trackers to consultants.
    • Reviewing monthly consultant invoices and time trackers for correctness and forwarding them to the Finance Coordinator for processing and payment.
    • Assisting with the development of CSI marketing content for emails and the website.
  • Handling the logistics and registration for GHSA-sponsored webinars, events and other learning opportunities for GHSA Members.
  • Working with other staff to better engage existing GHSA State Members and grow the number of Associate Members.
  • Providing back-up to the Programs Coordinator, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned aligned with the objectives of GHSA.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and 1 – 2 years of applicable professional experience. Experience working in a non-profit or an association is desirable.

GHSA represents the State and Territorial Highway Safety Offices that implement programs to address behavioral and highway safety issues, including occupant protection, impaired driving and speeding. GHSA provides leadership and advocacy for the states and territories to improve traffic safety, influence national policy, enhance program management and promote best practices.
