Carry out breath alcohol device maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and training for the State of Wisconsin as a Breath Alcohol Analyst! This position is part of our Chemical Testing Section which approves and maintains qualitative and quantitative breath alcohol testing equipment for use in Wisconsin. The Section also provides comprehensive instrument use training and education for all law enforcement agencies statewide.

Breath Alcohol Program Specialists independently manage and coordinate Chemical Test Program functions within their assigned local jurisdiction. The Breath Alcohol Program Specialist maintains, calibrates, and troubleshoots breath alcohol testing instruments in their assigned area of the state; oversees breath alcohol activities of certified instrument operators; instructs law enforcement agency personnel in the proper use of breath alcohol test instruments and calibrating units; provides training, consultation, and scientific court testimony regarding theory and principles of breath alcohol testing; and assures the continued proficiency and competency of certified instrument operators.

Recent graduates with natural science degrees and applicants with lab science experience are encouraged to apply.
