The RBGS has been tested and passed USA’s longitudinal barrier crash test (MASH TL-3 and TL-4) and issued Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Eligibility Letters that allow its use on all federally funded road safety projects. With only 12” of deflection on a 62 mph impact at 25 degrees angle, RBGS provides maximum protection to vulnerable road users in pedestrian walkways and dedicated bicycle paths adjacent to roadways.
