Behavioral Interventions Reduce Distracted Driving, Promoting Safer Roads

A new report from the Governors Highway Safety Association and Cambridge Mobile Telematics explains how State Highway Safety Offices (SHSOs) can leverage telematics-based risk assessments to strengthen their Triennial Highway Safety Plans (THSPs) and save more lives.

This project developed procedures to assess the existence and extent of under/over-reporting of impaired and distracted driving in crash data and to propose a methodology to improve the reporting of impaired and distracted driving in motor vehicle crashes.
