Lisa Wagner has worked in the association industry for more than 25 years and is an expert in accounting, finance, and conference and strategic planning. At GHSA, she is responsible for overseeing and conducting all aspects of the association’s financial operations, including accounting, audits, grant administration, reporting, tax compliance, information technology and human resources.
Prior to joining GHSA, Lisa was instrumental in building the systems and procedures necessary to grow the American Wind Energy Association from a staff of 13 to a staff of 75 with a $40 million budget during her tenure. As the CFO of Solar Energy Trade Shows (SETS), she selected and implemented the systems and procedures that allowed SETS to become one of the fastest-growing trade shows in the country with more than $20 million in revenue. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland. She is an American Society of Association Executives Certified Association Executive and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Lisa and her husband have five adult sons and live on the Chesapeake Bay in West River, Maryland with their Red Tick Coonhound Hailey.
