The traffic ticket reduction is being seen nationally, said Pam Fischer, the Governor’s Highway Safety Association senior engagement director, and a former state highway safety division director. The nationwide group that represents state highway safety departments has been working with law enforcement to find ways to discourage bad driving to reduce the number of fatal crashes.
