Mazda Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation announced a new $2.3 billion joint-venture company “Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc.” (MTMUS) that will produce vehicles in Huntsville, AL, starting in 2021. The facility will create up to 4,000 jobs and produce 300,000 vehicles. Mazda North American Operations is headquartered in Irvine, California, and oversees the sales, marketing, parts, and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States, Canada, and Mexico through approximately 780 dealers.
