Going on now: Compliance Based Removal Research Report

Intoxalock Image 1Intoxalock is sponsoring research with GHSA to examine and review the compliance-based removal’s (CBR) impact on driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol recidivism in states with and without a CBR requirement. CBR is a program exist requirement that various states have applied to their Ignition Interlock Device (IID) programs. This system requires zero violations during the remaining months/days of the IID period to ensure the offender is ready and able to drive demonstrating compliance and the likelihood of behavior change. The research and subsequent report will address if a state with CBR/IID use has lower recidivism rates for longer periods of time than that without a similar CBR/IID use requirement.

Each state sets their own criteria, regulations and rules around the process for installing and maintaining an IID. Intoxalock state experts are available to help clients understand the timeline of their IDD requirement every step of the way.
