Bridging the Gap to Zero Fatalities

The GHSA 2020 Annual Meeting, "Bridging the Gap to Zero Fatalities," will examine promising approaches to reducing the number of motor vehicle crashes and saving lives on U.S. roadways through a collaborative approach uniting law enforcement, public education, advocacy and engineering.

Tentative Workshop Topics 

Breakout workshops will examine hot topics in safety and offer tactics to address them, including alcohol-impaired driving, law enforcement and subrecipient engagement, vehicle technology, speeding, motorcyclist safety, rural roads and distracted driving. 


Registration will open in May. Register early to avoid additional fees!

* Highway safety professionals are not eligible to register as a spouse/guest. Registrations after Aug. 14 must be processed on-site at the higher rate. 

Highway Safety Exhibition 

More than 70 booth spaces will be available for exhibitors to showcase their products, programs and services. Booth fees include one exhibitor badge and are $1,100 for GHSA Members/Associate Members and $1,200 for nonmembers. For more information, contact Amadie Hart (
