Join the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as they discuss coordinated efforts nationwide to combat alcohol- and drug-impaired driving this holiday season. The virtual event and press conference will be held Tuesday, December 14 at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. NHTSA Deputy Administrator Dr. Steven Cliff will be joined by:

  • U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell, Michigan (D)
  • Michael Sandoval, Secretary, New Mexico DOT and GHSA Executive Board Member
  • Alex Otte, MADD National President
  • Stacie Brown, Arlington, Texas Police Department

NHTSA’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and If You Feel Different, You Drive Different Drive High, Get a DUI campaigns will begin on December 15 and run through January 1, 2022, historically one of the deadliest times on U.S. roads.
