Public Affairs Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time, independent contractor (1099) position for a Public Affairs Specialist role with the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association. This role will be responsible for media monitoring, coordinating with the communications and government affairs teams, and supporting the organization’s administrative needs.

This position is for a remote employee, but a strong preference for people in the Washington, DC area for on-site events as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Media Relations and Public Relations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in communications government relations, or trade associations is a plus
• Bachelor's degree
