Bratton, who is also Executive Chairman, Risk Advisory, Teneo, is the author of the popular 2021 book, "The Profession: A Memoir of Community, Race, and the Arc of Policing in America."

Attendees will also enjoy a conversation with Jane Pauley, the Emmy-winning host of CBS Sunday Morning, who will share her inspiring life story and discuss the importance of making a difference and pursuing your dreams.

Waymo Chief Safety Officer Mauricio Peña will discuss Waymo's vision for achieving Safer Vehicles under the Safe System approach and how the Waymo Driver can help address the behavioral safety issues that put vehicle occupants and other road users at risk.

An informative panel discussion about the Safe System approach, which has been adopted by the U.S. Department of Transportation in its National Roadway Safety Strategy, will feature David Strickland, Vice President, Global Regulatory Affairs and Transportation Technology Policy at GM and former NHTSA Administrator; MADD National President Alex Otte; and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety President David Harkey.

Honda WebinarJoin GHSA for an informative pre-Annual Meeting webinar, sponsored by Honda, to whet your appetite for Louisville. With more than 53 million vehicles on the road today with open recalls, innovative programs are needed not only to notify owners, but also spur them to take action. We'll showcase how a vehicle manufacturer, local law enforcement agency, Safe Kids Coalition and home visitor program incorporated vehicle recalls into their community-based programs and bolstered engagement. They’ll share what worked and didn’t, as well as what’s next. Kerry Chausmer, GHSA’s Director of Programs and Member Services, will lead an informative panel discussion that will leave you motivated and ready to act.
