GHSA 2022 Annual Meeting
September 17–21, 2022
Louisville Marriott Downtown
Join colleagues and partners from across the country in Derby City this September as we redefine possible in traffic safety.
General sessions will consider the unique safety needs and opportunities in rural communities, how automated vehicles continue to impact driver behavior, the role of behavioral safety in the Safe System approach and what states can do to reduce distracted driving. Breakout workshops will dive into an array of topics, including engaging underserved communities and partners, alcohol- and drug-impaired driving, speeding, micromobility, innovative communications campaigns, pedestrians and bicyclists, and teen and older driver safety.
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about trends, resources and new ideas, and leave with a fresh perspective on how to redefine possible for the communities you serve. The meeting also provides sponsorship, partnership and exhibit opportunities to help your organization interact with key U.S. highway safety leaders and decision-makers.

GHSA held two informative pre-Annual Meeting webinars to whet your appetite for Louisville! You can watch the recordings below.
With more than 53 million vehicles on the road today with open recalls, innovative programs are needed not only to notify owners, but also spur them to take action. This webinar, sponsored by Honda, showcased how a vehicle manufacturer, local law enforcement agency, Safe Kids Coalition and home visitor program incorporated vehicle recalls into their community-based programs and bolstered engagement. Experts shared what worked and didn’t, as well as what’s next.
The nationwide seat belt use rate was 90.4% in 2021. What is it going to take to get that remaining 9.6% of motor vehicle occupants to buckle up? Innovative programs are needed to address this pervasive issue and make sure everyone is properly restrained in a seat belt or child safety seat. In this webinar, sponsored by the Auto Glass Safety Council, experts from public health, community organizations, the private sector and law enforcement shared what approaches they’re taking to improve the safety of vehicle occupants.
Exhibitor registration is now open! Reserve your spot today.
More than 50 booth spaces will be available for exhibitors to showcase their products, programs and services. New this year is the ability for exhibitors to scan attendee name badges for immediate lead generation making it easier to follow up with federal and state transportation safety leaders after the meeting. See a list of this year's exhibitors and stay tuned as more are added.
The booth fee is $1,200 for GHSA Associate Members and $1,400 for non-members and includes one registration. Additional booth staff must register to receive a badge, which is required for access to all meeting events. Reach out to Kerry Chausmer (email@example.com) with any questions.
